If I wasn’t so busy watching birds in my own yard I’d be wishing I was watching birds in your yard. Thank you for your blog, I’ll be checking back to see who’s in your yard.
I had a hutton’s vireo today. That was a first ever for me in my yard.
Hi, thanks for starting this blog. I have a feeder on my front porch for sparrows and wrens. The funniest thing I’ve seen is a stellar jay trying to maneuver his big ol’ bod around to get to the sunflower seeds. *G*
You can tell it’s Spring in the desert as the chipping and twittering can get very exciting. I dare to say some of the new partners are actually scolding their mates. Temperatures are on the climb and I’m sure I’ll have a lot of activity in the pond as they do. So far the Grackles are leaving my little patch of Watercress alone.
It sounds very relaxing to be able to sit on your deck in the cool weather and enjoy the sounds of nature. I look forward to reading about your retreat as the temperatures continue to climb.
